TagTap collects nothing. There is no account, no server and no analytics. The apps contain no networking code, so there is no mechanism by which your data could reach us even if we wanted it.

What we collect

Nothing. TagTap has no backend service, asks for no personal information, and has no sign-in. We do not run a server that TagTap talks to.

What stays on your device

Everything TagTap creates is written to the app's own private storage, readable only by the app:

• Your library — the templates you save and the record of tags you have written, including whatever you put in them, such as URLs, Wi-Fi passwords or contact details.
• Scan results — chip details read from tags you scan.
• Preferences — appearance, haptics, sound, and which warnings you have already acknowledged.
• Your Pro status — cached, so a store outage cannot lock you out of something you have paid for.

Deleting the app removes all of it. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it.

Device permissions

• NFC — to read and write the tags you hold against your phone. TagTap only talks to a tag while you have explicitly started a scan.
• Camera — only when you choose to import a QR code. Frames are decoded on the device and are never stored or transmitted.

Purchases

TagTap Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. Your payment details go to them, never to us. We receive no personal data from that transaction — the app only learns whether an entitlement exists.

Analytics and tracking

There are none. TagTap includes no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, no advertising identifier and no third-party trackers. Nothing you do in the app is measured or reported.

Children

TagTap is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. If a future version of TagTap ever collected anything, it would be described here before it shipped.
